PlateSpin Recon 3.6.1 includes the following new features:
Support for New Platforms: This release enhances the existing comprehensive platform support with the addition of support for VMware* vCenter Server 4, VMware ESX 4.0, and VMware ESXi 4.
Support for New Processor: This release provides support for inventory and data collection for the Intel* Xeon* processors based on the Nehalem architecture processor.
The following issues that were discovered in the original shipping version of PlateSpin Recon 3.6 have been resolved in this release:
495106: PlateSpin Recon Inventory of VC2.5 fails with the message No output returned from the script execution.
510350: PlateSpin Recon 3.6 Inventory hangs the servers.
515062: ESX edition for ESX 4i is displayed incorrectly. In the tab of the ESX machine Properties page, the edition of the inventoried ESX 4i machine is incorrectly displayed as 3i instead of 4i.
