Defining a Crawled Index

Here you can define a new crawled index by giving it a unique name and specifying the Web addresses, or URLs, of the Web sites that you want Web Search to index.

Index Name

Enter a unique name, such as Sales or Marketing. If you are going to create a larger number of indexes, you might consider using a numbering system, such as 001, 002, 003, etc.

Web Sites to Crawl

Enter the Web address, or the actual Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of the Web sites that you want indexed.
