You can enable users who have access to an entry, but do not have access to the parent workspace or folder, to navigate to the entry by using the Workspace tree, as described in Novell Vibe 3.3 User Guide.

To enable users to access entries via the Workspace tree when users do not have access rights to the parent folder or workspace:
Change to the following directory:
c:\Program Files\Novell\Teaming\apache-tomcat\ webapps\ssf\WEB-INF\classes\config
Make a backup copy of the ssf-ext.properties file, which is located in the same directory as the ssf.properties file.
Open the ssf.properties file in a text editor.
Search for the following line:
Open the ssf-ext.properties file in a text editor.
Copy the accessControl.viewBinderTitle.enabled=false line from the ssf.properties file to the bottom of the ssf-ext.properties file.
Change false to true.
Save and close the ssf-ext.properties file.
Close the ssf.properties file without saving it.
Stop and restart Vibe.
