C.2 Uninstallation Error Messages

This section contains detailed explanations of the error messages you might encounter when uninstalling ZENworks 11 :

Unable to proceed because the device does not exist in the Management Zone. For more information, see http://www.novell.com/documentation/zcm10 for details.

Possible Cause: The specified IP address of the Primary Server to which the Linux Satellite is registered is incorrect.
Action: Specify the correct IP address of the Primary Server to which the Linux Satellite is registered.

Unable to proceed because the uninstaller is not able to determine the roles assigned to the device. For more information, see http://www.novell.com/documentation/zcm10 for details.

Action: Ensure that the Primary server to which the Linux Satellite is registered is up and running, and the server is accessible by the Linux Satellite.

Action: If the problem persists, contact Novell Support.

WARN_PACKAGES_NOT_REMOVED message is displayed when the uninstallation completes on a Linux device

Explanation: When the uninstallation completes on a OES Linux or a RHEL device, the following error message is logged in the Console logs: 
The following error occurred during the uninstall:
WARN_PACKAGES_NOT_REMOVED
Action: Ignore the error message.

Uninstalling ZENworks on a OES Linux device fails to delete the database folders on the device

Explanation: On uninstalling ZENworks from a OES Linux device, the database folders on the device do not get deleted and the following message is logged in the Console logs:
