Flag values in the following paragraph have been corrected from True and False to be Yes and No. Also, "The default value of the flag is set to Yes" sentence was added to the paragraph. When AMS receives an unsolicited SNMP trap from an agent, it locates the appropriate alarm template for the trap-type object that is defined in the MIB of the device. If the alarm template is not available, the AMS checks the IgnoreUnknownTrap flag in the <install_volume>\<install_dir>\ZENWorks\MMS\MWServer\Properties\Alarmmanager.properties file. If the flag value is set to Yes the alarm is ignored. If the flag value is set to No the alarm is archived in the database as an unknown trap. The default value of the flag is set to Yes. |
