Meeting iManager Requirements

Before you can install the Policy and Distribution Services plug-in to iManager, you must have a server that meets the following requirements:

• Jakarta Tomcat Servlet Gateway 3.3a

  For installation assistance, see Installing the Jakarta Tomcat Servlet Gateway .

• iManager (integrated into Tomcat)

  For installation assistance, see Installing Novell iManager .

In addition, any Windows* workstations where you plan to use iManager must meet the following requirements:

• Internet Explorer 5.5 or above

  For installation assistance, see Installing Internet Explorer 5.5 or Above .

• Automatic character encoding for creating and displaying extended characters in Novell eDirectory^TM object names

  In Internet Explorer, click View > Encoding > Auto-Select.
