Prerequisites

• Novell eDirectory 8.6.2 or higher
• Novell DirXML 1.1a
• Solaris Sparc* 2.7 or 2.8, or Linux* Red Hat* 7.0 or 7.1 or 7.2
• IBM* AIX* 4.3, 5.1
• ConsoleOne^® 1.3.4
• iManager 1.5
• eDirectory Administration Utilities (for extending the schema). For more information, refer to the Novell eDirectory Administration Guide
• Download and instal the latest recommended patch for the eDirectory version you are using from download.novell.com to the system where eDirectory is installed.
• DirXML uses the Java* Runtime Environment. On Solaris, please see java.sun.com to download and install the operating system patches that might be required.
