You must have Unicode enabled and use Windows 2000 or Windows NT for DFS (volume junctioning) to function properly with CIFS. Unicode is enabled by editing the CIFS.CFG file and changing the Unicode entry to ON.
Currently, DFS support works in CIFS only if you do not change the CIFS Server Name from the default name that is displayed during the NetWare 6 installation. This will be fixed for the final release.
A new CIFS.NLM is included with NetWare 6 SP1 that corrects a problem with the domain import function. For more information, see TID # 2960727.
