If you upgrade form NetWare 5 to NetWare 6 using the overlay method, iPrint may not be configured correctly. In NetWare 5.1, the Novonyx Enterprise Server was installed by default and captures port 443. After upgrading to NetWare 6, port 443 is still assigned to Novonyx. When iPrint tries to use port 443 for secure printing, the HTTPSTK reports an error on the logger screen.
Users will see the following error message when they attempt to use a secure iPrint printer.
Error message: HTTP 500 - Internal server error.Error group: HTTP Error code: 500
iPrint uses port 443 for secure printing. If you are not using secure printing, you can ignore this.
If you require secure printing, then you will need to remove the Novonyx Enterprise Server from the NetWare 5.1 server before upgrading to NetWare 6 or install iPrint on a NetWare 6 server that does not require the Novonyx Enterprise Server.
To resolve the issue, NetWare Remote Manager to remove the Novonyx assignment to port 443. ??
