NSSO provides single sign-on support for the following mainframe terminal emulators:
Use the following settings when setting up terminal emulation with Novell Single Sign-on software.
To set up IBM Personal Communications 4.3:
Select File > API Settings.
Set the DDE/EHLLAPI box.
v-GO also supports version 4.5.
To set up Attachmate EXTRA! 6.3 and 6.5:
Select Options > Global Preferences.
Set the HLLAPI short name and Enhance Transport.
NOTE: Background processes are sometimes left after a session has ended. This may disrupt the autologin process and will prevent the session from being restarted.
v-GO also supports version 2000.
To set up RUMBA:
Select Options > API > Identification.
Set the session short name.
NOTE: RUMBA generally has a functional implementation of HLLAPI. It connects and sees the PS, though it does not appear to support connections on more than one session. v-GO can only provide single sign-on support to the last session started.
To set up WRQ Reflection 7:
Call HLLSETUP.EXE and register VGOMHO.EXE.
Under the Setup menu item, select Terminal and set the Session short and long name.
NOTE: Reflection is different in that it requires any application connecting to it to be registered first. It also appears to have problems supporting multiple sessions.
v-GO also supports Reflection 8.
To set up Hummingbird HostExplorer:
Select Edit > Options.
The Session Profile dialog box appears.
Select Session > General.
Enter the session long name.
NOTE: The text will consist of one letter between A and Z.
