WindowsサーバでのSybaseエンジンの起動

Sybaseエンジンは、Policy and Distribution Servicesが起動すると自動的に起動します。Sybaseエンジンを再起動するには

1. コントロールパネルで［管理ツール］をダブルクリックします。

2. ［Services］をダブルクリックします。

3. ［Novell Database - Sybase］を右クリックし、［開始］をクリックします。

コンソールプロンプトからWindows 2000/2003サーバ上のサービスを停止するには

1. installation_directory\inv\server\wminv\binディレクトリに移動します。

2. 「StopSer service_name」と入力します。

   service_nameは、Inventory Serviceを示します。

Windows 2000/2003インベントリサーバでInventory Serviceを停止するには

1. コントロールパネルで［管理ツール］をダブルクリックします。

2. ［Services］をダブルクリックします。

3. ［Novell Inventory Service］を選択し、［停止］をクリックします。

Windows 2000/2003インベントリサーバですべてのInventory Serviceを停止するには、サーバコンソールのプロンプトに移動して、inventory_server_installation_directory\inv\server\wminv\binディレクトリからstopser "*"を実行します。

Windowsサーバでのエージェントの起動

Management and Monitoring Servicesエージェントには、Server Management Agent、Traffic Analysis Agent、Advanced Trending Agentなどがあります。

SNMPサービスが自動的に起動されるようにWindows 2000/2003を設定した場合、Windows 2000/2003にインストールされたエージェントは、Windows 2000/2003の起動時にSNMPサービスを起動します。

SNMPサービスが自動的に開始されるようにWindows 2000/2003を設定しなかった場合は、次のサービスを開始します。

1. Windows 2000/2003の場合は、［コントロール パネル］で［管理ツール］>［サービス］の順にダブルクリックします。

2. ［SNMP］を選択し、［開始］をクリックします。

   SNMPサービスが起動すると、Server Management Agent、Traffic Analysis Agent、およびAdvanced Trending Agentも起動します。

Windows 2000/2003サーバでこのサービスを停止するには

1. Windows 2000/2003の場合は、［コントロール パネル］で［管理ツール］>［サービス］の順にダブルクリックします。

2. ［SNMP］を選択し、［停止］をクリックします。

   SNMPサービスが停止すると、Server Management Agent、Traffic Analysis Agent、およびAdvanced Trending Agentも停止します。
