Novell Education Announces Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) Program Evolutions At BrainShare '95

More Than 60 Percent of BrainShare Attendees Are CNEs

March 9th, 1995--Provo, Utah--In almost two weeks, more than 4,000 participants will join Novell, Inc. on the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City at BrainShare '95. Novell Education will announce program evolutions to the Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) program and host a series of courses and events for its Certified Novell Instructors (CNIs). Held March 20-24, BrainShare is for those who develop, support or integrate network computing solutions.

ATTENDEE PROFILE

A full two-thirds of the BrainShare participants are CNEs. "The BrainShare audience is the CNE audience," said Carolyn G Rose, Vice President and General Manager for Novell Education. "That's why BrainShare is the perfect venue for Novell Education to make announcements specifically tailored to CNEs and CNI audience."

Last year more than 2,500 attending BrainShare attendees were employed with Fortune 1000 Corporations, 16 percent were independent software vendors, 15 percent were systems integrators, Novell resellers made up 12 percent along with CNEs at another 12 percent, and 11 percent were consultants. More than 40 percent worked for companies with 5,000 employees or more.

WORKSHOP FEATURES

BrainShare '95 will offer more than 200 breakout sessions and many new courses and topics. Sessions are run by Novell architects and engineers with presentations covering all phases of network applications development, integration and support.

Novell Education will provide several courses free for CNEs attending BrainShare '95. The seven CNI courses offered free will run the weeks directly before and after the conference. These seven courses are: Advanced Technical Suite 4.1 Enhanced, 526 NetWare 3.1x to 4.x Update, 801 Services and Support, 325 GroupWise 4 Administration, 326 GroupWise 4 Async Gateways and Remote Support, 740 NetWare Internetworking Products, 605 NetWare TCP/IP Transport, and 285 PerfectOffice 3.0 Suite.
