Appware Prominent At Brainshare '95
With topics ranging from an introduction to AppWare and the ALM
library to creating NetWare bindery applications with AppWare, Novell's
NetWare Development Tools Group will present over 10 percent of the
sessions at the BrainShare conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, March
20-25. AppWare partners, Alta Technologies, Attachmate, ECO High
Tech Group, Folio Corporation, Hewlett-Packard, Northern Telecom, Open
Data, Revelar Software, and Wall Data, will also be attending the
conference to present sessions on new AppWare technologies.
Novell will be showing its new NetWare bindery Application
Loadable Module (ALM), and demonstrating the upcoming NetWare
browser and schema manager ALMs. These new ALMs make it easy to
develop applications that leverage current and past versions of NetWare.
AppWare will be featured in the Development Tools lab where
attendees can experience hands on demonstrations and meet the
AppWare experts. Exciting AppWare applications will also be featured
at BrainShare's SuperLab.
Borrowing a line from the famous writer Mark Twain, Ed Firmage,
director of marketing for Novell's NetWare Development Tools Group,
said "Rumors of our demise have been greatly exaggerated. As you can
see from the activity at BrainShare, AppWare is alive and well." For
those wanting to learn more about the state and future of AppWare,
there are sessions on "Novell's Development Tool Strategy" and "Future
Directions for AppWare".
