Novell Education Announces CNI Advisory Council
March 22, 1995--BRAINSHARE, SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH--Novell, Inc.
today announced the formation of its first Certified Novell Instructor (CNI)
Advisory Council, comprising of seven CNIs from around the globe.
"The Advisory Council is a group of CNIs chosen by Novell
Education. The Council serves as the champion of the CNI community--a
champion which Novell Education looks to for maintaining and improving
the technical quality and instructional skills of the global CNI community.
These CNIs help shape and guide the development of the policies and
procedures that assist us as we grow the program," said Brent Done,
director of Programs and Services for Novell Education.
The roles and responsibilities of the CNI Advisory Council make
this body the prime conduit between Novell Education and CNIs, providing
Novell Education with varied viewpoints. "The Council at its best provides
a voice for CNIs," Done said. "They are a select body of peers whose
experience and reputation make them excellent representatives for the
CNI community."
CNI Advisory Council members will represent the CNI community
to Novell and at industry events. They are chosen on the basis of
industry experience, knowledge and support of networking and network
applications, consistent excellence in classroom performance, a
thorough understanding of Novell's leading-edge products, and
reputation within the CNI community.
CNIs comprise one-third of the differentiating requirements that
uniquely qualify NAECs as the source for networking and network
applications training, which are: quality hardware/software facilities,
Novell-developed courseware, and CNIs to teach that courseware.
