Novell Extends Product Registration Deadline For NetWare Sales Promotions

Customers Participating in Three Promotions Have Until May 31, 1995, to Register Their Products

Due to tremendous customer response to NetWare 4, Novell today announced it is extending the product registration deadline for three NetWare sales promotions. Customers participating in the NetWare 4 promotion, the NetWare SFT III promotion and the NetWare upgrade/GroupWise promotion have until May 31, 1995, to register their products with Novell and be eligible for the promotion offers. Products for all three promotions must have been purchased by Dec. 31, 1994. Registrations must be received by Novell by May 31, and that deadline will not be extended.

"We want to ensure NetWare 4.0x customers take this opportunity to upgrade free to NetWare 4.1, Novell's premier NetWare 4 platform and the basis for future NetWare 4 development," said William Donahoo, director of Marketing for Novell's NetWare Products Division. "We've extended the registration deadline based on the enormous number of customers who are turning to NetWare 4 to realize the benefits of a high-performance, reliable network solution that greatly reduces network administration time and the cost of owning their network."

NetWare Sales Promotions

• Customers who purchased NetWare 4.0, NetWare 4.01 or NetWare 4.02 before Dec. 31, 1994, and registered their product before March 31, 1995, were eligible for a free upgrade to NetWare 4.1.
• Customers who purchased NetWare SFT III 3.11 before Dec. 31, 1994 and registered their product before March 31, 1995, were eligible for a free upgrade to NetWare 4.1 SFT III.
• Customers who purchased an upgrade to either NetWare 3.12 or NetWare 4.0x before Dec. 31, 1995 and who registered their product and sent in a promotion fulfillment coupon (included in the upgrade box) before March 31, 1995, were eligible for a free 5-user copy of Novell GroupWise, GroupWise Message Server NLM and GroupWise MHS NLM.

Novell has continued to honor product registrations received after March 31, and has now officially extended the registration deadline until May 31. Although Novell will continue to accept product registrations received after May 31--and Novell encourages all customers to register their products--these customers will not be eligible for the sales promotion offers. The May 31 deadline will not be extended, and no grace period will be offered.

• Mailing the registration diskette included in the product box.
• Registering via fax.

In addition to submitting a product registration, customers participating in the NetWare upgrade/GroupWise promotion must also mail in a promotion fulfillment coupon, which is included in the NetWare upgrade box.
