Novell's Second Annual Edge Conference Kicks Off Worldwide Event Tours U.S., The Netherlands, Thailand, and Australia in June
May 24, 1995--Orem, Utah--With the challenge "Change your
Perspective and Change the World," Novell Education kicks off its second
annual Edge Conference June 5 in Boca Raton, Florida. The Edge
Conference is exclusive to Novell Education's authorized training channel
and select industry partners and participants.
"Partnership is the heart and history of Novell Education," said
Jerry Christensen, Director of Business Development for Novell
Education. "Our partners provide us with the strongest channel in the
industry. With them, Novell Education will drive global pervasive
computing through 'pervasive learning,' and create the infrastructure to
support one billion users."
SHARING PERSPECTIVES
Edge provides a unique forum for Novell Education and its
partners to share perspectives. It is also an opportunity for Novell's
partners to network and share creative business solutions. Robert J.
Frankenberg, Novell President, Chair, and CEO will keynote the event live
in Boca Raton and via video at other locations.
Edge breakout sessions promise lively interaction on topics such
as "Applications Training: New Perspectives and Opportunities," and
"Taking IT Training into the Next Century." In addition, Novell Authorized
Education Centers (NAECs) and Novell Education Academic Partners
(NEAPs) will learn how to maximize their profits and make the best use
of their resources. New to Edge this year, 26 vendors will provide
exhibits that offer additional solutions and demonstrations for running
better businesses.
GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
In keeping with the conference theme, Edge '95 promises a truly
global perspective. Edge conferences spanning four continents are
scheduled throughout the month of June:
Boca Raton, Florida USA
June 5-7
Amsterdam, The Netherlands
June 11-13
Phuket, Thailand
June 18-20
Terrigal, Australia

For the Americas conference, call 1-800-385-3805 for
information. Novell authorized channel partners in other areas should
contact their Area Education Managers (AEMs) for registration
information. Due to limited space, early registration is strongly suggested.
The conference is exclusive to Novell Education's authorized training and
select industry partners.
NOVELL EDUCATION
Novell Education's mission is to drive global pervasive computing
through quality education programs and products; its purpose is to
increase literacy on Novell products and technologies and thereby foster
Novell's success worldwide. Novell Education plays a critical role in
providing true pervasive computing by building the infrastructure of
support and literacy necessary to drive and sustain that vision.
Since 1988, Novell has championed a leveraged model of
reaching student customers, wherein NAECs around the globe provide
instructor-led training and self-study options for student customers. In
1994, Novell partners trained half-a-million Novell student customers; in
1995 Novell's 1,300 NAECs and NEAPs will increase that number to
three-quarters-of-a-million.
