Orem, UTAH -- July 24, 1995 -- Novell, Inc. today announced the appointment of Stephen Jackson as director of Asia Pacific Support, the Novell group that provides technical support on all Novell products to customers in this region. Jackson joins Novell from Wang Australia, where earlier this year he was a key member of the executive team responsible for the merger of Wang and Bull Information Systems. Jackson headed up Wang's Professional Services Organization and MIS Group.

"Jackson has the right combination of technical support and international management experience to assist Novell in fulfilling its commitment to excellence in providing technical support to our customers throughout Asia Pacific," said Bob Clark, director of international support for Novell Technical Services. Novell is investing heavily in the technologies and resources that will provide this region's customers with the best technical support in the industry."

In this new Novell position, Jackson will report directly to Clark and is responsible to ensure customer satisfaction, build synergies and efficiencies between Novell's Asia Pacific support centers, help drive business decisions for technical support in Asia Pacific, and contribute to a broader global management team. The vision of a worldwide support infrastructure can now be realized by combining Novell's leading edge technologies and fundamental customer focus.
