Novell Trains Instructors On Applications Prepares Them to Teach Courses for Novell Productivity Specialist Certification Candidates; Courses Launch in August OREM, UTAH--August 2, 1995--Beginning August 14, 1995, several five-day training classes will be offered at Novell Technology Institute (NTI) sites in the U.S. to prepare instructors to become certified as Novell Applications Instructors--a key to delivering quality training to the applications market. Novell Education will also be scheduling training courses in Europe and Central and South America. The NTI classes are aggressively scheduled to coincide with the program introduction. The five-day training covers all three Novell Productivity Specialist courses in detail. The agenda has been arranged so instructors who choose to attend may select from either the first two days or all five days of the training, depending on their schedule and individual need.Instructors who attend the training at an NTI site will receive instructor kits for all three classes (a $390 value), and will be prepared to take the Novell Productivity Specialist exam, a requirement to becoming a Novell Applications Instructor. The regular application fee for Novell Applications Instructor candidates is U.S. $200. Novell Education is waiving half the normal fee until October 31, 1995, allowing instructor candidates to take advantage of the special application price of just U.S. $100. Becoming a Novell Applications Instructor All former WordPerfect CIs and any CNI wishing to teach Novell applications courses should consider attending the NTI training. However, course attendance is optional. To become a Novell Applications Instructor, CIs and CNIs must apply and pass the Novell Productivity Specialist exam at an instructor level. New candidates wishing to participate in the Novell Application Instructor program should apply to Novell; show they have six months experience with applications training, tutoring and/or consulting; complete the instructor evaluation process; and pass the Novell Productivity Specialist exam at an instructor level. |
