Carolyn Rose To Go Online With Netware Users -- October 26, 1995 --

Carolyn Rose, Novell's vice president and general manager of Education, will host a discussion on Novell's education initiatives during the next NetWare 4.1 CompuServe online conference on Thursday, Oct. 26, 1995, from 4-6 p.m. EDT. The conference presents an ideal opportunity for Novell customers to ask questions about all aspects of Novell's education offerings, including the Certified Novell Engineer (CNE), Master CNE, Certified Novell Instructor (CNI) and Certified Novell Administrator (CNA) programs as well as Novell applications training. Joining Rose will be Novell technical and marketing experts to answer customers' questions about NetWare 4.1.

To access the conference, participants should log in to CompuServe and type GO NETWARE4.

Rose has been instrumental in leading Novell's pioneering education efforts, which have resulted in building a channel of more than 1,400 Novell Authorized Education Centers (NAECs) worldwide. This global channel will teach more than three quarters of a million student customers in 1995. There are now more than 70,000 CNEs, 70,000 CNAs and 3,500 CNIs worldwide, and another 120,000-plus in progress. Rose joined Novell in 1989 through the company's merger with Excelan, Inc. Prior to joining Novell she worked in technical instruction and course development in the semiconductor industry. Rose holds a BS in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.

The NetWare 4.1 Online Conferences are part of Novell's NetWare 4.1 Upgrade Promotion, which features 20 percent off the price of all upgrades to NetWare 4.1 from any previous NetWare operating system through Oct. 31, 1995. The online conferences are held biweekly and feature a Novell executive teamed with product experts.
