Novell Announces Resignation of Bruce Bastian from Board of
Directors
Orem, UT -- November, 10, 1995 -- Novell, Inc. today announced the resignation of Bruce
Bastian from the company's Board of Directors. Bastian joined the Novell Board of Directors as
a result of the 1994 acquisition of WordPerfect Corporation, which he founded with
Alan Ashton in 1979.
Bastian is leaving the Novell Board of Directors to pursue other interests. His resignation
follows Novell's recent decision to sell its
Business Applications Division, including several former WordPerfect products.
