Novell And AT&T Demonstrate AT&T WorldNet Intranet Connect
Service at Networld+Interop
Leverages Novell Connect Services for Business-Class,
Internet/Intranet Services
What:
Novell, Inc. and AT&T will demonstrate AT&T WorldNet (sm) Intranet
Connect Service that supports Novell Connect Services (NCS). The
AT&T service is a business-class Internet/intranet service that lets users
extend the reach of their traditional networks, allowing customers to
transact business, and communicate with their customers, partners, and
employees. The service uses Novell Directory Services® to
manage users and as the foundation for its security. The demonstration
will highlight customer applications of AT&T World Intranet Connect
Service.
AT&T WorldNet Intranet Connect Service combines Internet access with
intranet capabilities so customers can use the same service, physical
connection and protocols for their internal and external networking
communications. The service supports both IP and IPX applications, and
provides enhanced security for secure intranet access for closed user
groups within an organization or business community.
