Novell to Demonstrate NDS Integration Technology For Windows NT
at Networld+Interop
What:
Novell Inc. will publicly demonstrate a pre-release version of a Novell
Directory Services (NDS) integration technology for Windows NT,
code-named "Tabasco". The new technology will allow administrators to
have a single point for administering users and groups within a mixed
environment of Windows NT Server and NetWare 4 application servers,
saving valuable time and resources. This technology furthers Novell's
commitment to providing its customers with a networking solution that
protects current investments and connects disparate systems and
people.
The demonstration will show existing NT users being integrated into NDS
as the central directory repository and also NDS running on Windows NT
Server. Novell has previously announced that NDS will be commercially
available on Windows NT in the first half of 1997.
