Novell Sets Annual Meeting Date PROVO, Utah -- March 18, 1997 -- Novell, Inc. announced that following the appointment of Eric Schmidt as chairman and chief executive officer, it has rescheduled its annual meeting for May 2, 1997. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time, at Novell's San Jose, California, campus. Proxy materials that provide information on the management appointment will be mailed to shareholders in late March.
