Baltimore, MD March 17, 1998 Today at ISPCON, Novell, Inc.
introduced
Novell Internet Enhanced Service Provider (Novell Internet ESP), a new service in Novell's
PartnerNet98
Program that will allow Novell channel partners and ISPs to grow their businesses. By joining
Novell
Internet ESP, channel partners and ISPs will be able to give their customers a competitive
advantage by
offering GroupWise, a cutting-edge tool that provides businesses with advanced collaboration,
Web
publishing, calendaring and scheduling capabilities. Qualified Novell partners and ISPs in North
America
can begin registration immediately for this service. Novell Internet ESP will be available
worldwide later
this year.

Novell Internet ESPs Gain Access to GroupWise
Channel partners and ISPs who are certified as a Novell Internet ESP will be able to license
Novell's
GroupWise®, the premiere collaboration product for corporate networks and intranets.
With its
broad range of Internet standards and enhanced collaboration tools, GroupWise is an off-the-shelf
solution that allows fast-paced companies to leverage the Internet to work more efficiently and
gain a
competitive advantage in the marketplace. Users can publish any document in GroupWise to the
World
Wide Web with minimal input and effort. In addition, GroupWise expands users' ability to access
different types of information, extends advanced collaboration to a variety of platforms and offers
improved administration and management. Over time, channel partners and ISPs who join Novell
Internet
ESP will have access to other Novell products such as BorderManager, a directory based
Internet
security and performance solution, and ManageWise, a leading network management
solution.
