Novell's CNE-only Online Chat
Novell, Inc. will host an exclusive online chat session between Drew Major and the first 200 Certified
Novell Engineers (CNEs) to log-on to the CNE NET Virtual Community. Major will address the audience
on NetWare® 5 and BorderManager Enterprise Edition. Following the address, an open
discussion will be held so CNEs can send Major questions via the Web interface and receive his replies in
real time. The chat will be broadcast live via real audio.
Who:
Drew Major, Novell Chief Scientist and Vice President of Advanced Development
As one of the original developers of NetWare, Major has played an integral role in the design and
development of Novell products, and continues to oversee research and development.
When:

How:
Tools Needed to view site: Navigator 3 or 4, or Internet Explorer 4 and
RealPlayer 5.0, RealPlayer 5.0 can be downloaded for free from the RealNetworks
Website. Participants may want to download RealPlayer 5.0 prior to the day of the chat, as it may
take several minutes.
To log-on: Registration begins 15 minutes prior to the chat. The first 200 CNEs to
log-on through the chat link can participate. To log-on, first, enter via http://www.novell.com/cnenet; second, click on Major's picture
and insert certification PIN and password; last, click on a special link, "join chat here."
An archived version of the chat will be available one week later, at http://www.novell.com/cnenet via the
link, "presentations and on-line chats."
