GroupWise 5.5 Now Accessible to More Organizations Worldwide Benefits of Novell's Premier Collaboration Solution Available in Eight Additional Languages NICE, France (BrainShare Europe '99) — May 18, 1999 — Novell, Inc., the world's leading provider of directory-enabled networking software, announced today the open beta availability of GroupWise 5.5 in eight additional languages. Since first shipments eight months ago, GroupWise 5.5 has sparked the fastest period of market growth in the history of Novell's GroupWise product line. Now totaling over 18 million seats, the total GroupWise user base grew 50 percent in the last 12 months alone. What: Currently shipping in 11 languages, Novell, Inc. today announced the open beta availability of its second multi-lingual release of GroupWise 5.5. This release will make GroupWise 5.5 available in the following additional languages: Korean, Chinese Traditional, Chinese Simplified, Japanese, Czech, Polish, Hungarian and Russian. Since December 1998, GroupWise 5.5 has been available in English, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish.
