of its e-mail solution. SUSE Linux eMail Server III is an easy-to-install,
complete solution for small and medium-size enterprises as well as dedicated

Oakland, Calif. 10/15/2001 SUSE Linux eMail Server III reliably handles the reception, distribution,
and transmission of electronic mail. In compliance with the IMAP standard
(IMAP = Internet Message Access Protocol), SUSE Linux eMail Server III
administers and stores all e-mail on a central server, thus providing users
with optimum Internet or intranet access to their electronic mail, no matter
where they may be or which device or e-mail client they use. SUSE Linux
eMail Server III supports all common e-mail clients, including Microsoft
Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger and Eudora. Alternatively,
users may access their e-mail folders simply with a web browser.
System administrators will also benefit from the enhanced performance of
SUSE Linux eMail Server. The central data storage enables uncomplicated and
comprehensive data backups. Proven graphical user interfaces facilitate the
configuration and ongoing maintenance of the e-mail service. Web-based user
interfaces of the e-mail server save system administrators time for
implementing user-specific adaptations. With SUSE Linux eMail Server III,
even inexperienced users are able to adjust individual settings, such as

other resources. Groups or individuals can be automatically notified by
e-mail about upcoming appointments. The new eMail server also supports the
administration of virtual domains. With a web-based user interface, the
establishment of new domains is a matter of seconds. Companies with low
e-mail traffic often use the inexpensive collection method in multidrop
mailboxes with their ISPs. With SUSE Linux eMail Server III, e-mail from
multidrop mailboxes can now be distributed to the various recipients.

http://store.suse.com and from qualified software retailers. The recommended
retail price for one server is US $ 999.00, including three manuals, 30 days
of support, one year of maintenance, and the server backup solution Arkeia
from Knox Software. Owners of any previous version of SUSE Linux eMail
Server can upgrade to version III until December 31st 2001 at the reduced
price of US $ 699.00.
