Caldera Ships eDirectory with New Linux Systems Management Solution

PROVO, Ut — Jan. 24, 2001 — Novell, Inc. announced today that Caldera, a “Linux for business” leader, is bundling a 100-user license of NDS eDirectory with Caldera Volution, a new Linux systems management solution. Customers of Caldera Volution will be able to leverage the industry-leading LDAP-based eDirectory as a central repository to store and manage information on users, policies, and hardware and software inventory, delivering an intuitive way to manage network resources in the enterprise and service provider environments.
