New Career Center Available to Novell Customer Communities

Tech career center to include searchable job listings and career-related content from Dice.com

PROVO, Utah —Feb. 21, 2001— Novell, Inc., the leading provider of Net services software, today announced the availability of a technology career center for Novell's customer communities, such as CNE Net and Novell Users International (NUI). The Novell Customer Community Career Center, developed and powered by leading IT job site Dice.com, will feature Novell-related Dice.com jobs, career-related online tools, compensation information and other content.

"One of the greatest challenges CIOs are facing today is finding and recruiting talented employees; conversely, Novell's user groups are organized to help members enhance their careers," said Keith Clarke, Novell's director of Customer Relationship Marketing. "This agreement with dice.com to create the Novell Customer Community Career Center is the perfect marriage of these two opportunities. Through the career center, members of Novell's user groups will be able to follow trends in the IT job market, measure average industry salaries, and locate potential career opportunities by keyword, job title, skills, and state or area code."

"We are excited to be providing this service to Novell," said Kent Kelderman, group vice president at Dice.com. "With over 24 high-profile sites, such as Novell, which use dice.com to provide job listings and IT content, we have demonstrated a proven track record of dice.com's value, high-quality services and ability to successfully recruit IT talent despite a significant IT workforce shortage."

The Novell Customer Community Career Center is available online to Certified Novell Engineers (CNEs) at http://cnenet.novell.com and all Novell professionals at www.nuinet.com.
