Novell Employees Recognized As Being "Industry Support SuperStars

PROVO, Utah —May 24, 2001— Novell, Inc., the leading provider of Net services software, today announced several employees who were recognized as "Industry Support SuperStars" by the Software Support Professionals Association (SSPA). SSPA represents nearly 14,000 service executives in over 500 member companies worldwide. They recognize that some companies have risen to the challenge and mastered the process of delivering excellent software support. The "Industry Support SuperStars" awards recognize those individuals within these companies who continue the drive to offer excellent support.

For their dedication towards providing committed customer service, the Novell Canada Support Team took home the honor of Super Support Team. John Reeves, senior project analyst, was awarded the Outstanding Achievement award which recognizes top performers who do it all for their company. Technical support engineer James Samson received the Informal Leader award as being one who others turn to because of his balanced view and personal credibility. The Customer Advocate award went to both Michael Johnson, technical support engineer, and Pamela Robello, SysOps support engineer. This award recognizes those who consistently provide a high quality of customer service support.

The "Industry Support SuperStars" were recognized at the SSPA Tech Support Teams Conference held May 21-24 in Austin, Texas. All winners were nominated by their respective supervisors and managers.
