PROVO, Utah — July 10, 2001 — Novell, Inc. today announced it has completed the acquisition of Cambridge Technology Partners (Massachusetts), Inc., adding a powerful new services and consulting capability to complement Novell's industry leading Net services software. Jack Messman, president and chief executive officer at Cambridge Technology Partners has been named president and CEO of Novell. Eric Schmidt, formerly CEO, will continue to offer strategic counsel as chairman of the Novell board of directors.
