Novell to Announce NetWare 6 Availability, Strategic Agreement at NetWorld+Interop 2001 Atlanta

Novell CEO Jack Messman joined by Yahoo! Inc., Computer Associates, Novell channel partners and customers to address strategic plans for Novell's future

What:
On Sept. 11, Novell CEO Jack Messman will make several announcements that demonstrate Novell's continued commitment to enabling companies to bring together all their different networks into one Net. The announcements include:

  • The general availability of Novell® NetWare® 6, the industry's premier network platform. Full details of NetWare 6, including pricing and availability, will be provided.
  • A new strategic agreement with Yahoo! Inc.
  • The availability of the Novell Small Business Suite 6, a collection of Novell's premier networking, directory and collaboration solutions with an array of industry-leading, third-party products - providing small businesses with the same tools widely used by Fortune 500 companies.

Richins' guests will include Jim Fanella, senior vice president of Business and Enterprise Services at Yahoo!, Jim Burns, partner at Deloitte & Touche, Eric Schmidt, chairman of the board at Novell, and others.

NetWare 6 Launch Party: Sept. 11, 6:30 p.m., Ballrooms 1-4 of the GWCC The party will feature entertainment from Wayne Brady of TV's "Whose Line Is It, Anyway?"
