11/20/2001 — Munich, November 20 , 2001 - Fujitsu Siemens Computers announced today that the new operating system "SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 7 for IA-32" is supported on their PRIMERGY server for Business Critical Computing. This platform is regarded as very stable and therefore ideally suited for small and medium sized enterprises. It can also be used as a departmental server to lower total cost of ownership (TCO) in big corporates.

mySAP.com, the leading E-Business platform for Business Critical Computing, is already now available for the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server on the PRIMERGY computer. This is a result of the close collaboration between the development departments of SUSE Fujitsu Siemens Computers and SAP. The concept of the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server also stands for longer lifecycles of successive versions of operating systems.
