Novell ZENworks and CA Unicenter Manage Networks from Unified Console

ORLANDO, Fla. (CA World 2002) — April 24, 2002 — Novell, Inc., the leading provider of Net business solutions, today announced the availability of a unified enterprise management solution that integrates Novell ZENworks, Novell's industry-leading policy-enabled network management solution, and Unicenter, the industry-leading enterprise management solution from Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA). As announced in July 2001, the integrated solution will offer customers a unified management console from which they can optimize the management of their heterogeneous networks as one Net, while securely maintaining the high availability and performance required by their eBusiness applications and systems.

Customers already using the cross-platform management capabilities of CA's Unicenter can further enhance their ability to manage the enterprise through the policy-enabled and directory-powered services provided by ZENworks for Desktops and ZENworks for Servers. ZENworks' nearly 37 million users now have available to them integration into the world's leading enterprise management solution, thus combining best-in-class solutions to manage their networks efficiently and effectively.
