PROVO, Utah — May 1, 2003 — How do you take the wealth of information and transactions trapped inside your organization and put it to work for the benefit of your business? Steve Preston, Novell director of Solutions Marketing will address this question in two separate forums designed to bring these issues to light at the Gartner Web Services and Application Integration Summit to be held May 5-7 at the Westin Century Plaza Hotel and Spa in Los Angeles.

On May 6, Preston will first participate in a panel discussion titled "Software Suites for Integration" that will examine how organizations are mixing application servers, integration brokers and portals, offering the audience best practices and design options from real-world customer successes. Gartner vice president and research director Yefim Natis will moderate the panel and representatives from Microsoft and BEA will join Preston in the discussion.

Later in the day, Preston will host a workshop entitled "Enabling the Agile Enterprise with Novell exteNd." Attendees will learn how organizations from a number of different industries have used Novell exteNd, Novell's comprehensive application platform suite, to leverage existing enterprise systems to securely deliver dynamic solutions to key business constituents.
