PROVO, Utah — 17 June 2003 — help organizations leverage the latest Web technologies to achieve real-time business advantage, Novell executives will be hosting two breakfast sessions at the DCI Conferences June 16-20, 2003, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.

"As part of the Enterprise Portals and Web Services Conference, Novell's vice president for portals, access and security, Brendan McLaughlin, will discuss the convergence of Web services and secure identity management on Wednesday, June 18, from 7:30 to 8:20 a.m. EDT in room 311. Open to all conference attendees, the breakfast presentation will explore emerging trends in secure identity management and Web services, the growing convergence of these technologies and real-world examples of organizations that have benefited from these solutions.

Lars Nordwall, worldwide practice director for Novell, will deliver a breakfast presentation on executive dashboards to conference attendees as part of the Customer Relationship Management Conference & Exposition on Thursday, June 19, from 7:30 to 8:20 a.m. EDT in room 210. In his presentation, Nordwall will discuss how executive dashboards can deliver real-time access to business critical information and improve agility and competitive advantage.

Long-time industry veterans, both McLaughlin and Nordwall are executives within Novell's Strategic Services Group. In his role as VP for portals, access and security, McLaughlin is responsible for defining and delivering solutions that leverage Novell's strengths in secure Web services through the union of the company's Nsure secure identity management and exteNd Web application development solutions. Nordwall is the worldwide practice director of business intelligence and analytics solutions for Novell, responsible for the sales, delivery and strategic direction of Novell's analytics practice worldwide.
