PROVO, Utah Oct. 7, 2003 — Building on its continuing commitment to deliver secure identity management solutions for SAP customers, Novell today announced the availability of a DirXML driver that will streamline user administration across SAP applications and with other enterprise systems. The driver for DirXML, the identity management component of Novell Nsure secure identity management solutions, automates the processes of managing users and their access to ease administration and increase employee productivity.

Using DirXML with its wide range of drivers to manage users within SAP applications and with other enterprise systems such as directories, databases and applications, customers are able to replace manual processes with automated, rules-driven processes that make it even more secure and cost-efficient to manage identities and access privileges across the enterprise.

The DirXML Driver 1.0 for User Management for SAP software solutions has been certified by SAP for its integration with SAP R/3 Release 4.6 and SAP Web Application Server (SAP Web AS) 6.20 and is now available for $10 per user through Novell Authorized Resellers and solution providers or directly from Novell.
