04/21/2003 — Intel Corporation today announced the release of the VTune(tm) Performance Analyzer 1.1 for Linux. This release adds support for the latest SuSE Linux platforms including SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 8 and SUSE Linux 8.1. The VTune analyzer for Linux tool provides a fully Linux-based performance analysis capability to assist software developers analyze and optimize Linux applications, enabling them to take full advantage of latest 32-bit IntelŪ processors including IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 and IntelŪ Xeon(tm) processor-based systems.
