07/31/2003 — With Dr. Peter Zencke joining its Supervisory Board, SUSE Linux AG gains prominent and competent support from the IT industry.

As a member of the Executive Board of SAP AG since 1993, Zencke has led major development areas for SAP R/3 and SAP industry solutions. Most recently, Zencke, who holds higher academic degrees in mathematics and economics, was responsible for mySAP Customer Relationship Management, achieving a leadership position in the market. In July 2003, Zencke assumed responsibility for the development of SAP's new application platform and architecture, coordination of global research activities, and SAP Labs development centers. In addition, he is a member of the SAP Product and Technology Board.

Zencke assumes the position on the Supervisory Board of SUSE Linux AG left vacant by Rainer Kaczmarczyk, Chief Executive Officer, Enterprise Systems Group, Hewlett-Packard Germany.
