This section explains the operating software and browser requirements for the client machine, in order to be able to access the SSL VPN user portal.

When you access the SSL VPN user portal in the Windows environment by using Internet Explorer, an ActiveX component is downloaded to the client machine. If you want to download the Java applet on your machine instead of the ActiveX control by using the Internet Explorer, you need to do some server-side configurations.
