Administration Basics
|
This part:
- Introduces you to the SilverStream Application Server's three-tiered architecture and outlines your tasks as a SilverStream system administrator. It also introduces the SilverStream Management Console (SMC), which you will use to perform many administrative tasks.
- Describes the basic hardware configurations for the SilverStream Application Server and explains how the server operates in the Web environment.
- Describes database configuration settings for SilverStream-supported databases. It also describes the SilverMaster database, and briefly outlines general database administration.

Administering the Server
