To add a user to a group

  1. Right-click the User or Group object click Properties.
  2. If you selected the User object, click Memberships Group Membership Add select the group to add the user to click OK.
  3. If you selected the Group object, click Members Add select the user to add to the group click OK.
  4. In the Properties dialog box, click OK.

The membership lists in the User and Group objects are kept synchronized by the system. Group members are automatically security equivalent to the group, so make sure you grant rights to the group accordingly. Group membership can also be used in the conditional logic of login scripts.
