In NDS*, properties of an object are sometimes called attributes, especially when the NDS schema is being discussed. Rights to an NDS property are stored separately from rights to the NDS object (entry).
Supervisor
Grants all rights to the property.
Compare
Grants the ability to compare the property value with another value to see if they are equal. The comparison returns True or False, but it doesn't return the actual property value.
Read
Grants the ability to read the property value and compare it with another value. It implies the Compare right.
Write
Grants the ability to add, change, and remove property values. It implies the Add Self right.
Add Self
Grants the ability to add or remove one's self as a value of the property. This right applies only to properties that contain a list of object names, such as a group membership list.
Inheritable
Specifies whether the rights assignment is inherited by the trustee to subordinate objects. This option is available only on container objects.
For compatibility with previous versions of NDS, this option is selected by default for entry rights and all properties rights, and is not selected by default for specific property rights.
