Configuring a Synchronized Replica

  1. From the General Administration page, click the News Server server name button > Discussion Replication > Set Master Host.

  2. Type the fully qualified name of the master server for which your server is to be a synchronized replica in the Master Host field.

    The Set Master Host form applies only to this News Server. If you want to configure this server to be the master host, you must access the News Server interface for each of the designated synchronized replicas and put this server's name in the Master Host field.

If you do not type anything in the Master Host field, your NetWare News Server will not be a synchronized replica.
