Configuration Tips
When troubleshooting NetWare Link/ATM, remember to perform the following tasks:
- Inspect the cabling and connectors associated with NetWare Link/ATM connections to the network.
- Ensure that the ATMWAA network interface is configured properly.
- Ensure that the ATM remote address is configured properly in the WAN call directory.
- Verify that the network protocol is bound properly to the ATMWAA interface, not to the ATM adapter board.
- Check the idle-timeout value if an on-demand link is used.
- Check the encapsulation method used.
- Verify that identical values for the user data size are being used at both ends of a connection.
