Product Description

This download contains the updated iPrint plug-ins for iManager 3.0.3 running on Open Enterprise Server (OES) 11, OES 2015, and OES 2018 servers. The iPrint plug-in lets you create, manage, and maintain your iPrint print system using iManager.

Downloading and Installing iPrint Plug-in

The iPrint plug-in in this download file is for iManager 3.0.3. Use this plug-in to manage the iPrint service on Open Enterprise Server (OES) 11, OES 2015, and OES 2018 servers.

Downloading the iPrint Plug-in Software

  1. On the iPrint plug-in Download page, click the download button next to the iPrint_Linux_iMan30.npm file to begin the download.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to save the file to a directory on your computer.

Installing iPrint Plug-in for iManager 3.0.3

There are two ways you can install plug-ins in iManager. The preferred way is to use the integrated plug-in download feature from within iManager using the following steps.

  1. Log in to iManager where the plug-in is to be installed.
  2. Click the Configure icon.
  3. Click Plug-in Installation > Available Novell Plug-in Modules.
  4. If iManager is able to access www.novell.com, it will automatically list the latest plug-ins available for iManager.
  5. Locate the plug-in you wish to install. Place a checkmark next to the plug-in, then click Install.

    NOTE: If the plug-in does not show up in the list of Available Plug-in Modules, you may want to check that the plug-in is not already installed by clicking the Installed Novell Plug-in Modules link. Even though you may already have the plug-in installed, if a newer version is available, it will show up in the Available list. It is also possible that the plug-in you are trying to install is not supported on the platform that iManager is running on.

  6. Restart Tomcat. This restart takes a few minutes. At the terminal console prompt, enter

    systemctl restart novell-tomcat.service

If you want to install the plug-in manually, use the steps below to install the plug-in.

  1. Log in to iManager where the plug-in is to be installed.
  2. Click the Configure icon.
  3. Click Plug-in Installation > Available Novell Plug-in Modules > Add.
  4. Browse for the .npm file you downloaded. Select it, then click OK.
  5. Select the check box next to the .npm file.
  6. Click Install.
  7. Restart Tomcat. This restart takes a few minutes. At the terminal console prompt, enter

    systemctl restart novell-tomcat.service
