When a Finance User selects the Home tab the system defaults to the My Account screen. Within this tab, personal account information can be accessed and modified.
The Home tab gives access to the following tabs:
My Account - Allows the User to edit their personal information, including password resets, if enabled, and set their time zone
Feedback - Allows the User to access published Surveys that are ready for completion.
Users with the Finance Role can only be assigned the Configuration and Service Level Management Processes. The Finance Role primarily drives the service costing models and, if relevant, maintains the Billing module that uses system Contracts and Purchase Orders.
A Finance User can:
Create Customers and Items
Project end to end Service costs
Complete access to SLA's and OLA's
Access reports
Bill for services
Process payment for Invoices
Cancel Maintenance Contracts
Manage IT and Service Assets.
NOTE:A Finance User is the only User with the privilege to process the payment of Invoices. The Invoice option must be enabled by the Administrator within the Billing Setup, for this privilege to become available.
