Although all of the Desktop Management services can be installed on one machine, your network resources or design might require you to install some components on different servers. This section lists the software requirements for those servers.
NOTE:The information in this section also applies to ZENworks 7 Desktop Management with Support Pack 1 (SP1), ZENwork 7 Desktop Management with SP1 Interim Release 1 (SP1 IR1), ZENwork 7 Desktop Management with SP1 Interim Release 2 (SP1 IR2), ZENwork 7 Desktop Management with SP1 Interim Release 3a (SP1 IR3a). For more details about the tested platforms for SP1, SP1 IR1, SP1 IR2, SP1 IR3a, and SP1 IR4, see Section 8.0, Platform Support for the Desktop Management Infrastructure.
The following table lists the software configurations that are required on the machine where you install the Desktop Management Server software.
