For single store installations, the Administration and Branch Servers can be deployed on a single server. The Administration/Branch Server combination provides full Novell® Linux Point of Service system functionality (Administration Server, Branch Server, and Image Building Server) from a single server.
The Admin/Branch Server combination is supported only for self-contained installations. No additional Branch Servers can connect to the Admin/Branch Server. You can, however, create a two-node heartbeat cluster by installing two Admin/Branch Servers and configuring one as the primary and the other as the secondary.
