To perform your upgrade, follow the instructions in Installing OnDemand Services . The upgrade process and new installation process are identical with the following exceptions:
When the Installation program recognizes that OnDemand Services 1.5 is installed in the eDirectory tree, you will be prompted to upgrade your Package objects. You must specify a parent container that includes all Package objects you want upgraded.
You will be prompted for a Packages container. OnDemand Services 2 will only display packages contained within the Packages container. Specify a parent container that includes all your Package objects.
You will be prompted for an installation location for the Maintenance and UsageServer processes. If you install it to the same NetWare server where the OnDemand Services 1.5 processes are installed, and you want to keep the OnDemand Services 1.5 processes, specify a different directory than the one in which the 1.5 processes currently reside. The Installation program defaults to the sys:\ondemand directory, which was also the default directory for OnDemand Services 1.5.
